As of 3:30PM today, we’ve had 21 pre-registrations for the LAN party. This is a phenomenal response. I’d like for everyone who is coming to take a second to go over to the LAN site and sign up so we can get an accurate headcount. This is more important this year then it has been in previous years because the party is both free and filling up quickly.
Also, the flyers have been printed and are ready for distribution. I haven’t seen a large (read: any) response of offers to help distribute, but if you have some time over the next two days, please let me know so I can give you some of these to post around campus.
I look forward to seeing each of you at the LAN. Come prepared to have some fun

As always, feel free to sign up for our mailing list (available on the right-hand side of this page) for more information about all our events.
While the old vandycs.org site has served us to some limited degree for years and years, (about 3 years, to be exact) we felt that a new site probably wouldn’t hurt. The new site is powered by Wordpress, phpBB, and Mailman. Multiple VCS members can login and post through the web interface rather than one person editing the site by hand. Most importantly of all, our site is now no longer hosted in another state by a former member who graduated two years ago and graciously allowed us to use his server for the past few years.
Please bear with us while we iron out any remaining bugs in the new site, and if you see any problems you can report it to webmaster@vandycs.org.
