Hello all,

Hope your weekend is going great. The first election of the new year for Vanderbilt Student Government is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, and I need your help. Brian has made significant changes to the system, both for ease of maintenance and feature requests, including:

* WYSIWYG editing of candidate platforms
* Complete rewrite of the business logic to use controllers
* Several database changes to allow collection of many more statistics
* Complete rewrite of the provisional voters system to make more sense
* Several fixes for new versions of MySQL and PHP
* … and more.

We now need your help. Please log in to the voting system at and vote in the two elections you should see there (Presidents and VandyCS Test Election). In the Presidents election, choose whomever you want, as if it were a real election. In the VandyCS Test Election, log in and vote for the statements that are true (e.g. “I am a sophomore”). If you see a statement that is untrue, please write in the correct answer to that question.

This will only take five minutes of your time, but it was help us enormously with the testing of this software. You must have a VUnetID to participate.

Thanks so much in advance,

Jason Roberts, President
Vanderbilt Computer Society
