VandyCS Meeting, 13-February

Hello everyone,

Time for another biweekly VandyCS meeting. At this meeting, we will have:

• Jon Ahlbin discussing the Technology section of InsideVandy
• Signups for the LAN party are underway at VandyLAN.com. I’ll be updating you on their progress.
• I will be talking about upcoming elections for VSG, including primaries and generals for the school reps and senators
• Brian Turnbull and I will be talking about the new VandyCS server specifications
• A summer internship opportunity from Professor Yuan Xue
• and whatever else you want to talk about.

The meeting will be at 6PM in Featheringill 138, and will last for one hour. I hope to see you all there.

The LAN party sign up site, VandyLAN.com, is now up and running. Go sign up now to ensure your spot. Also, please note the volunteer signups at the bottom of the page. We’re hoping we can get enough volunteers to shorten the shifts at this LAN to something far more managable and fun for everyone (like 2 hours). You get your gaming handle printed on your very own VandyLAN T-shirt, as well.
