8/25/08 Meeting Notes

The lan is officially Oct 10

First priorities for all of us are to make initial sponsor contact before Friday

The Student Org Fair is friday, and is going to be officer manned, so help out all you can there

We are having a member meeting later this week, probably Thur at 6

We are having a general meeting next week some time

We decided to try and organize the volunteers early enough to have them help us do advertising.

We are going to be updating the web site a bit

We might do a tee shirt design competition for the design on our shirt

We considered adding a small Rockband tournament. We will bring it up at the member meeting, and see if anyone would like to spearhead organizing this effort

We decided to restructure the sponsorship tier slightly to make cash “worth more,” as it is a more liquid asset that we can use easier than prizes. Matt and I will have this out before Monday
