Accomplishments

VandyCS is contacted by numerous groups and individuals who wish to leverage the various talents of VandyCS members. Here is a short list of projects presented to and completed by VandyCS members.

    Client: Mariano Sana

    Description: VandyCS was contacted to solve an issue pertaining to a Dell desktop failing to pass POST. Best Buy’s Geeksquad diagnosed the problem as a failed motherboard. Chris Veveris accepted the request to fix the issue. Chris replaced the motherboard, but the desktop still failed to POST. Chris assured the client that the problem was being caused by the power supply and not necessarily the motherboard. The client accepted the diagnosis, and ordered the replacement part. Using the new parts, Chris was able to verify that both the original power supply and motherboard had failed due to a power issue at the client’s home.
