The LAN party was a pheonominal success. We gave away lots of prizes, had plenty to eat and drink, and most of all, had a great time. I want to thank once again everyone who both volunteered and participated in the LAN party — it couldn’t have happened without you. Here’s looking forward to the next LAN in the spring!

There is an article about the LAN party today in the Hustler. Check it out. Some good quotes there from our officers and our Freshman member whose name I’m quite sure is Aaron Thompson. This has driven sign-ups and traffic way up on our site, so it’s great news for the LAN Party. I hope to see you all there on Friday!

I need people interested in volunteering for the LAN party to e-mail me at president@vandycs.org. “Why would I be interested in volunteering?”, I hear you ask. Well, we are giving everyone who volunteers two tickets towards winning raffle items at the end of the night.
