Hello VandyCS members,
There will be no meeting this week, as I have only one agenda item. If you have other agenda items, please send them over and we will schedule a meeting for next week. What I would like you to discuss is “How did the LAN party go? What can we do differently to make it a success?” Discuss in the comments. As always, any agenda items or things you’d like to be put on the blog can go to president@vandycs.org.
Enjoy your week and go vote!

Hello all,
We have some exciting opportunities available for people interested in working with VandyCS. The first is something through SGA whereby we offer information about how to use common office programs — e.g. Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. They are particularly interested in use of Excel and Powerpoint. There may be compensation available for this (obviously, at a lower rate then web work).
We also have two possibilities for web work which are fairly significant. These are both projects requiring a professional or at least semi-professional web designer. The scale of these projects is in the $400-1000 range. One would be a store front type site (with some immediate work required to add a couple of pages to their existing layout first), the other is a website for a student organization. If anyone is interested in a solo or duo project and think you have the skills necessary, let me know.
As always, I’m available at president@vandycs.org or my name @ vanderbilt.edu for interested parties.
